
Ahead of Shehzada release, Kartik Aaryan visits Siddhivinayak temple, gets a challan from the cops: Pics inside - Times of India

Kartik Aaryan's much talked about movie Shehzada releases today. The light, breezy comedy is directed by Rohit Dhawan and is the official Hindi remake of 2020 Telugu hit 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', which featured Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles.
Like a lot of other actors, Kartik too, recently visited the famous Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai to seek blessings for his venture. There he got into a bit of a trouble with the cops and received a challan, reportedly due to wrong parking of his luxury black car.


Coming back to Shehzada, Kartik in an exclusive chat with ETimes recently revealed that he had returned the remuneration of the movie. He said, "Earlier I was not a producer for the film. I had taken my fees and remuneration but then there was some crisis that was happening and because the film was going through a crisis, they needed somebody to step up so I asked the producer that I will give up my money for the film and that's how this whole this whole production thing and me becoming a co-producer."
He went on to add, "The budget of this film wasn't very extravagant thankfully. But since it was an actioner, it does take a little budget and there were certain issues that we were facing at one point because of which I had to give it (his fee) up".
Shehzada also stars Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Rajpal Yadav, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar in key roles.
